Day 5,
Not much done today. Did rework some abilites to fit the new upgrade system, designed two new enemies for the third dungeon and thought about enemy troop design. There aren't alot of party based roguelite with turn based battlesystems out there so it is hard to find good examples to study. I will turn my eye to more standard games like final fantasy, octopath traveler etc.
I watched a movie today where one guy drowned in the desert in a sink hole. I like the idea of a point of no return and the risk playing with this point. I try to think of a mechanic, where the player needs to decide between taking another turn in the sink hole and risking to sink and take alot of damage or getting out, being safe but losing a turn (or getting a debuff...). Right now there isn't a dungeon that would match the theme, so it goes into my feature ideas list.
