Day 2
Today I finished coding the Zougi class. Each class has abilities from two elemental schools. The Zougi masters the elements of Light and Shadow. Lorewise this class is a follower of the Circle. The Circle believes that each thing has it opposition and the Zougi is someone who goes to find the opposition of various monsters.
The mechanic if the Zougi is called Dusk & Dawn. Each ability is either a Dusk-Ability or a Dawn-Ability. Using one will buff the other one until used. Additional on triggering a Dusk or Dawn amplified ability the Zougi will heal for a small amount. This allows the Zougi two different playstyles from the beginning. Either one, where you power up a strong Dusk or Dawn ability to burst enemies in one turn or to switch between Dusk and Dawn spell to be more sustainable like a bruiser.
To ensure boths playstyles there are low CD abilities with good side effects to spam and either increase Dusk / Dawn or to switch between multiple times. Then there are high CD abilities which are either AoE or hitting multiple times to profit alot from the Dusk / Dawn Damage Boost.
Two examples:
Starmash - Dusk: Deal Damage, apply Dark and Vulnerable. If target is slower, reduce the CD of this ability.
Sunflashes - Dawm: Deal Damage. There is a 2/3 chance to repeat on a random target until missed. Hitting a target twice blinds them.
Next I will work on the sprites.
